If you have gone through the process of unlocking the internal 1gb storage of the 1000 series (phat) Vita then some of the guide will already be familiar to you so please reboot and then still follow along with the steps.
If your 1000 (phat) Vita shows as having no storage (i.e. the Capacity shows - in system information) then please follow the guide to unlock the internal storage (here) before going any further or you will get stuck.
open the Vita web browser app and goto the address:
jailbreak.psvita.grouppress the 'Unlock my Vita' button and then 'Unlock'
The henlo-bootstrap menu should show up after a short while but If the browser crashes, either try again or reboot and try again.
Highlight the option 'Install henkaku' then press CROSS
If you Vita gets stuck then hold the power button for it to force a reboot and try again. If you still have issues then select Reset taihen then reboot and try again.
Highlight the option 'Install VitaDeploy' then press CROSS
Now press CROSS on Exit
If your Vita crashes or freezes duing any point of this process then reboot and try again. If your still having issues then it maybe a good idea to Factory restore using safe mode. (this shouldn't be essential and WILL remove the PSN ID thats currently on your device)
